Let's Bake Together

Top 5 Recipes of 2021

This has been a YEAR.

I’ve been working hard outside of my full-time job to improve my photography and bring high-quality, reliable recipes to the blog. I may not have brought as many new recipes here and I did in previous years, but I’m much happier with every new recipe. They’ve each been extensively tested and all of my favourite people have sampled them. They’re a tough crowd to please so if they like them, they’re good!

To round out the year, I’m bringing you the 5 most popular recipes on the blog over the last 12 months. Some were new to the blog this year and others have been on here for a year or two.

Looking at the top 5, you all are just as obsessed with macarons as I am. I challenged myself to feature a different macaron every Monday on my Instagram this year and I did it! They weren’t all new, but many of them were, or they were old ones that got a much-needed recipe overhaul and some fancy new pictures.

I’ll still feature macarons on occasional Mondays and there will definitely be new recipes coming your way, but 52 macarons was a LOT of macaron baking and I’d like to work on a variety of difference recipes over the next year.

Baking is my favourite way to relax so I’ll still be doing lots of baking, just varying it a little. If you have any requests, just let me know!

Now for the top 5 recipes of 2021.

I made these for Valentine’s Day, but honestly they’re perfect for any time of year. Maybe add them to your New Year’s spread?
