Let's Bake Together

One Week Until Feast!

Hello, friends!

It’s one week until Feast kicks off, and I’m so excited! It actually starts on Thursday, so it’s less than a week away but my brain couldn’t get this post together in time for the actual one week countdown so here we are!

By now, I’m sure you’ve all heard about the fires creating havoc on the West coast and the hurricanes that have hit Texas and the Caribbean and are heading towards Florida. Yesterday, Feast announced that they have added one more even to their already packed schedule.

The event is called “Feast For All” and it’ll be taking place next Sunday, September 17th, from 4pm-7pm. Tickets are only $30 and 100% of the proceeds and any other donations will be going towards the Red Cross and Friends of the Columbia Gorge. If you’re interested going and supporting this incredibly important cause, click here.

The $30 covers the cost of food and drinks. Food brings people together so with the help of Nicky Farms and some incredible chefs, a BBQ buffet will be put on to benefit the places that need it most. This is going to be a great event and is a cool way to take part in Feast weekend if you weren’t able to get tickets to any of the other events.

I hope you’re preparing for a crazy amount of pictures and stories directly from me at Feast next weekend. I’m going to events Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and you better believe I’m going to be blowing up your social media feeds with all of the food and fun I’m having. I’m more of an instagram girl than anything else so you’ll find most of my adventures over there (@bryonycooks).

What things are you looking forward to hearing about? The food? Chefs stories? Tell me what you want to see and read about and I’ll do my best to make it happen for you!

And if you’re going to Feast, let me know! I’d love to meet any fellow bloggers or people who read this blog 🙂

Mini Egg Macarons

This week has been nuts. Mini egg macarons are obviously the answer. I’m finally cleared to drive again so I took myself on a little jaunt to the grocery store (easy) and to and from Vancouver for an appointment with my surgeon (pushing it). My […]
